Privacy Policy
Effective from 5 October 2026.
1. Who is responsible for your data
surfseabreeze.com is operated by “SURF SEA BREEZE” Məhdud Məsuliyyətli Cəmiyyəti (“SURF SEA BREEZE” MMC, the Company), registered in Azerbaijan. Tax ID (VÖEN): 2008865501.
The Company’s registered address is available on request at info@surfseabreeze.com.
For personal data enquiries, contact the Company's administration at info@surfseabreeze.com.
2. Data we process
When contacting us through a form, email or WhatsApp, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, selected enquiry topic and message. We also process subsequent correspondence and information needed to record your consent choices, including the date, enquiry source and consent text version.
Website operation may involve technical information such as your IP address, request time, browser and device information, requested page and errors. This information supports page delivery and protection against abuse.
Do not send passport information, banking details or health information through general enquiry forms. If additional information is needed for further cooperation, we will explain its purpose and how to provide it separately.
3. Purposes
We use your contact information and messages to respond to enquiries and discuss services, partnerships or strategic investment participation that interest you. Data may also be used to protect the website and fulfil applicable legal obligations.
Updates about construction, opening and operation of Surf Sea Breeze are sent only through a separate subscription. Submitting a question or investment enquiry does not subscribe you. Declining updates does not prevent us from considering your enquiry.
Processing takes place on an applicable lawful basis, including your consent where required. The specific purpose is stated beside the form. Your contact details are not used for unrelated promotional offers without a separate basis.
4. Storage and access
Enquiries are stored in the WordPress website management system and sent to the Company's email. Access is limited to persons authorised by the Company to handle enquiries or provide technical support, to the extent necessary for their tasks.
The website uses Hostinger infrastructure. Hosting, email, backup and technical support providers may participate in processing. You can request information about specific recipients, storage locations and applicable transfer arrangements at info@surfseabreeze.com.
If data is transferred outside Azerbaijan, the applicable legal conditions for that transfer apply, including separate consent where necessary. This policy does not replace that consent.
We apply measures to restrict access and protect data against unauthorised disclosure, alteration and loss. Internet communications involve technical risks; avoid sending unnecessary or sensitive information through general forms.
5. Retention
General enquiries and associated contact details are kept while the matter is being considered and, where a need remains, for no more than 12 months after correspondence ends. The same approach applies to partnership and investment discussions: while discussions continue and, if necessary, for up to 12 months after they end. Data is deleted earlier when its purpose has been fulfilled and retention is no longer necessary.
If a contract is entered into, related documents are handled separately for the periods needed to fulfil the contract and applicable legal obligations.
Subscriber contact details are kept until withdrawal of the subscription or discontinuation of the relevant updates. Their continued necessity and accuracy are reviewed at least annually. Unnecessary contacts are deleted; we may request confirmation of an ongoing subscription where appropriate.
After an unsubscribe request, a minimal suppression record may be retained where there is a lawful basis, to avoid subscribing you again by mistake. Consent evidence, technical logs and backups have separate retention periods determined by their purposes and applicable requirements. Withdrawn contacts are not returned to an active mailing list when a backup is restored.
6. Your requests and unsubscribing
You may request information about the processing of your data, correction or deletion, and withdraw consent. Contact info@surfseabreeze.com. To protect your information, we may request sufficient information to verify that the request relates to you. Requests are considered within the applicable statutory period.
To stop updates, use the unsubscribe method included in the message or send “Unsubscribe” to info@surfseabreeze.com or to the WhatsApp conversation through which you received the updates. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Data required on a separate lawful basis may be retained to the relevant extent.
7. Cookies and browser storage
The website uses technical cookies and browser local storage to support functions and save preferences. A cookie is a small file delivered to your browser; localStorage saves preferences directly in the browser.
The language choice is stored in localStorage under ssb_language until changed or cleared. Acknowledgement of the notice is stored under ssb_cookie_notice_v1; the website treats it as valid for 180 days. The record may remain in the browser until cleared or updated. It is not consent to updates or enquiry processing.
When authorised users sign into WordPress, authentication and preference cookies may be used. Their actual lifetimes depend on sign-in settings and the WordPress configuration.
You can delete cookies and local data or restrict their use through browser settings. This may affect saved preferences and some website functions. The notice can be reopened through the “Cookies” link in the footer.
8. External services
Instagram and WhatsApp links lead to external services. After you follow a link, those services process information under their own terms and policies. If you message us through WhatsApp, the Company also processes your message for the purpose you selected.
9. Policy updates
The current version is published on this page with its effective date. A material change in processing purposes is not automatically agreed to simply because this policy changes. We will request new consent separately where required.
